Dr. Nandini Mundkur

 I have been getting some google  searches looking for Dr Nandini Mundkur.  She is a developmental pediatrician. She is with the Centre for child development and disabilities Bangalore. She with her team are a group of professionals trained in ADI_ autism diagnostic inventory and ADOS autism diagnostic observation schedule. They are into early intervention. She can be contacted at 080 23342035 or 41205034 .Their website is www.ccdd.in. She is also on the panel of  consultants,  at  Samvad, Institute of speech and hearing, Hebbal, Bangalore.

Hi I would like to mention that Nandini credentials are questionable. Our experience is that her interventions could further deteriorate the child's condition.

Dr Nandini makes personal remarks against parents and their profession, and accuses them of bad parenting. This is her way of getting children into their therapy classes even though the assessment results are normal.

Dr.Nandini Mundkar is one of the best Developmental Paediatricians in Bangalore.She runs a center in Malleshwaram known as Centre For Child Development And Disabilities (CCCD)

A good developmental Paediatrician, you will have to watch it though when she convinces you for treatment If your child has an issue.
She will first try and convince you that you are very late and then put you on to her staff who are (ill) trained by her . I am not too sure if the staff are qualified at all. On first hand experience, her staff seem to be in need of treatment themselves. Her rates are fantastically on the higher side.For instance she would charge you anywhere in the range of 6000 Rs upwards for Speech, OT and Psychological assessment while Chandrashekar Institute for speech and hearing will charge you 800Rs. Compared to Chandrashekar Institute CCCD does an absolutely clumsy job on the assessment and will not give you the complete "Report" for reasons best known to them.

They insist that the report will in their possession for further treatment of the child.Confidentiality is one thing, unethical practices to exploit financially, gullible patients is another.

She will direct you to another of her schools in Sahakarnagar-Please be careful! I wish she practices better ethics instead of being so money minded.

Conclusions: She is still one of the best and if you wish to go to her please do so but only for consultations with her ONLY!

Madam please guide me,my son is also diagnosed as autistic by Dr nandani.met 4 to 5 doctor s but she is the one who suggested the my son has moderate autism compared to other doctors who suggested that he has low or almost no autism.even I feel she is money minded.i am not able to judge whom to believe and whom not to believe.please help me.
Me myself been a doctor have got messed up between these doctors and at home convincing my wife regarding these things.pl help.

I am parent of 3years old son. I am from Visakhapatnam my doctor suggested to meet Dr.Nandini mundakar she has diagnoised Autism for my child. she suggested to join sahakarnagar school.please suggest me better centrein Bangalore

When I started out with PECS ,my mother was very apprehensive that it could impair his speech development.So are may people. Schools in Hyderabad and Tiruchi

                This school, Saandipani, in Shanti nagar is in Hyderabad. It follows the Waldrof curriculum that does not have a mass appeal with parents of regular kids. It works for our kids feels a mother of an autistic kid. The school believes in lot of physical activities, the academic sessions start only at 11.30. They teach more of vocational skills such as stitching and carpentry. After the gym, OT , and exercises , the mother feels the child is more focused. There are no deadlines.
